Bishop Marcus visit on 19th May 2015

Bishop Marcus visited the school to officially open our new nursery extension.  Bishop Marcus was ably escorted around the school by Gabriel and Isabella from Year 5.  Every class made their own presentation for him and the nursery children had baked him a special cake with the sign of the cross on top.   

There was then a May procession and liturgy held on the church lawn. The weather was lovely and the sun came out.  It was wonderful to see so may parents and friends of the school there.  On his way back down the avenue Bishop Marcus officially opened the nursery extension by cutting a ribbon.  Then it was tea and cakes in the hall.
